LinkedIn’s One-Click Endorsement Feature “Crazy Popular” – But Why?

LinkedIn’s one-click endorsements are crazy popular

Endorsements are LinkedIn’s lightweight version of the longer-form recommendation note. This easy vote of approval option was released in late September, offering members a fast, simple way to tell the world that a connection is skilled in any area. The endorsements members receive are then listed on member profiles, in the Skills and Expertise section.

The LinkedIn community so far loves these little hits of recognition; more than 200 million endorsements have been doled out by members since release.
