A Checklist for Delivering Effective Feedback

For many companies small and large, now is the time of the year for employees’ annual review.

Helpful feedback, effectively delivered, is a leader’s best friend. It can support behavioral changes (or strengthening) and can build rapport around the right performance issues.

But too many of us could use some help delivering it; many haven’t been trained in how to get this right. And that’s too bad, because it’s a powerful leadership tool. If giving feedback to employees is part of your role, here’s a great checklist you can use to help you give feedback more effectively.
